AstraCore Lab provides professional CO₂ laser cutting and engraving services for wood, acrylic, and select materials. We specialize in precision fabrication for custom components, prototypes, signage, jigs, templates, and small production runs.
Laser & Capabilities (OMTech AF2440 — 100W)
- Laser: OMTech AF2440 CO₂ laser (100W)
- Working area: 24" × 40" (approx. 610 × 1016 mm)
- Operations: Vector cutting and raster engraving
- Z Control: Motorized table for precise focusing and material thickness adjustment
- Best materials: Wood, acrylic, MDF, leather, paper/cardstock, select plastics
- Not supported: Bare metals (CO₂ lasers do not cut metal; coated/anodized marking possible case-by-case)
